Description
The intention of this tutorial is to introduce the ROXIE program package through a worked exampled (11 T dipole magnet). The tutorial starts with the definition of the conductor parameters, the 2D generation of a dipole magnet geometry, field calculation, 2D field optimization and evaluation of the iron yoke effect with non-linear B(H)-curve. Finally, the operational margin and electromagnetic forces are discussed.
